GAYNOR SAYS CAMERAS IN CLASSROOMS IS A DISTRACTION FROM REAL EDUCATION ISSUES

Arizona is ranked 47th in K-12 education achievement

Phoenix, AZ – Republican gubernatorial candidate Steve Gaynor released this comment today:

“The debate about whether to have cameras in our classrooms is a distraction. Half of our 3rd graders can’t read at grade level. Arizona is ranked 47th in K-12 educational achievement nationally. While I agree with parents’ concerns about what is being taught to our children, cameras won’t solve our problems. We need to reform our education system to give parents better school choices they can trust.”
