MOMENTUM: GAYNOR LEADS GOP FIELD IN CASH-ON-HAND, FIRST CAMPAIGN TO GO ON TV THIS YEAR
Gaynor blasts out of the gate in 2022 with nearly $5 million in the bank, more than Lake and Robson combined; Launches statewide TV campaign
PHOENIX – Steve Gaynor, Republican businessman and candidate for Arizona governor, announced today that his campaign will report more than $4.6 million cash-on-hand, starting 2022 with the largest announced warchest of all GOP primary candidates. Gaynor’s campaign begins the year with more money in the bank than opponents Kari Lake and Karrin Taylor Robson combined.
The Gaynor for Governor campaign has now launched a statewide multimedia ad campaign, and will be the first GOP gubernatorial campaign to hit the television airwaves this year. The ad, titled “Meet Steve,” will air across Arizona on television, cable, and internet, starting immediately.
“The momentum for my campaign is building quickly, and I’ve directed my team to move full speed ahead to ensure Republican voters all over our state learn about my plan to get Arizona back on track,” said Gaynor. “I am the only candidate in this race with the background to do what needs to be done: secure our elections, solve the border crisis, fix our schools, and protect our conservative values.”
The Gaynor for Governor campaign will release its full campaign finance report on Saturday.
